Conscious Commerce

Large corporations today employ between 200 to 400 times more people than what populated any of Europe’s most prominent medieval cities!

So CEOs of multinationals have more power and dominion than monarchs ever did.

Before the pandemic it was predicted that by 2020, the size of the global middle class would have almost tripled to 4.9 billion, from 1.8 billion in 2009.  

At last count, the number of unique mobile connections operating across the internet outnumbered humans by 1.2 billion - rendering the physical terrain once separating nations null.

So, now, more machines than humans are communicating with one another to share information about and make decisions on behalf of humans in. real. time.

We citizens have instant access to all of human knowledge and history via the super-computers casually commuting our pockets.

Past emperors of vast empires could not have imagined anything like it!

And yet... we bask in scarcity-mind!

Conservative estimates reckon that servicing of Earth’s 7.1 billion humans by current American middle-class expectations will require four more Earths.

So, it can be argued that the only thing more detrimental to ‘the future’ than global fallout is global prosperity.

More so now than ever, the future is limited only to what we fear, fail to see as wholly possible, or believe we are unable to actively influence.

We have THIS moment to dream, decide, design technology as servant to a sovereign world or master of a self-consuming world and enslaved humanity.

To most, the choice is clear.
